This week was intense but good. I like both of my new classes but I had to read and write a lot. I guess that’s part of school, right? On Tuesday after clases I explored downtown Madrid. First we went to the chocolate shop San Gines that is famous for its churros with chocolate. Afterwards, we decided walk through San Miguel market that’s sells local food and delicatessen of Spain gastronomy. We also went to the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol to enjoy the environment and night life of Spain. I took a lot of pictures of fountains and statues in the plazas. My favorite sculpture is “The Bear and the Strawberry tree.” In La Puerta del Sol. It was such a relaxing night.
