Last night I received the wonderful news from Mr. Cessna-Buscemi that I am one of the recipients of the study abroad scholarship to Madrid, Spain this year! I cannot wait to be a student at the University of Complutense in Madrid, Spain. I am grateful to God and completely humbled to have been selected for this once in a lifetime opportunity. I cannot thank NSE and MLSA enough for offering me this scholarship. I hope in the future my students will have the same opportunity to travel and study abroad. In the meantime, I am ready to learn all that I can to take back to my students and department this fall. This is truly a dream come true!
Anoche recibí buenas noticias de Sr. Cessna-Buscemi que soy una de las ganadores de la beca para estudiar en Madrid, España este verano! No puedo esperar de ser estudiante a la Universidad de Complutense de Madrid. Estoy tan emocionada y humildemente agredecida de haber recibido esta oportunidad de sola una vez en la vida. No puedo agradecerle suficientemente a NSE y MLSA por ofrecerme esta beca. Ojalá que en el futuro mis estudiantes puedan tener la misma oportunidad de viajar y estudiar. Mientras tanto, estoy lista de aprender todo que puedo en España para llevar estas experiencias a mis alumnos y departamento este otoño! Este es verdaderamente un sueño hecho realidad! ¡Gracias a Dios!
